Care instructions

Maintenance; While each marble piece is treated, a little care is essential to ensure the longevity of your piece. We recommend using a non-abrasive cloth with mild soapy water for regular cleaning, avoiding the use of bleach, vinegar, or similar cleaning products.

Although natural marble is a resilient material, it is also sensitive, particularly when exposed to acidic substances from food and beverages. As a result, our marble tables are impregnated with a specialized stone sealer and treated with end use in mind. This sealer provides a balance between preserving the natural finish and ensuring functionality. It forms a protective layer, making the surface resistant to liquids and dirt while creating a smooth satin-like finish.

Please remember that tables made from natural marble and stone require attentive care.
For immediate spills, it is crucial to wipe them up promptly. Natural marble and stone are vulnerable to acidic solvents found in coffee, wine, carbonated beverages, and more. We strongly recommend blotting spills with a paper towel, avoiding rubbing to prevent spreading the liquid. Use a pH-neutral detergent or stone soap to prevent stains from setting or being absorbed into the stone. The longer a spill remains, the higher the likelihood of staining. Even water should be blotted immediately with paper tissue or a dry cloth, as it can penetrate the table’s pores and cause discoloration. For stubborn stains, we recommend utilizing a specialist natural stone soap.

To protect the surface during daily use, it is advisable to employ trivets, placemats, and coasters, safeguarding the top from hot tableware or anything that may scratch or stain it. Additionally, exercise caution with hard objects and avoid using abrasive cloths, sponges, or wire pads during regular use or cleaning, as they may cause scratches.

Regular cleaning should involve gently dusting off the surface with a soft microfiber cloth. If necessary, clean with a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a small amount of mild pH- neutral dishwashing liquid. Any residue should be removed with a clean damp cloth.
Avoid using dusting sprays, abrasive cleaners, or any products containing acids, alkalis, bleach, or other potentially harmful chemicals. When in doubt, always test on a spot in an inconspicuous area.
